Participant Waiver & Terms
Please read carefully before accepting.
By registering for and participating in the Community Fitness Games (“the Event”), I acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Assumption of Risk
I understand that participating in a physical fitness event/race involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: strenuous physical activity, obstacles, varying terrain, weather conditions, personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and even death. I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any and all risks associated with my participation in the Event.
2. Fitness to Participate
I confirm that I am physically fit and capable of safely participating in the Event. I understand that it is my responsibility to consult a medical professional regarding any concerns or conditions that may affect my ability to participate. I understand that my registration is subject to these terms and that participation is entirely at my own risk.
3. Medical Treatment
In the event of an injury, accident, or illness, I consent to receive any necessary medical treatment deemed advisable during the Event. I agree to be financially responsible for any costs incurred as a result of such treatment.
4. Release and Waiver of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release, waive, and discharge the organisers of the Community Fitness Games, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, sponsors, affiliates, agents, and venue owners from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, theft, damage, injury, or death that may be sustained by me in connection with the Event. Community Fitness Games accepts no responsibility for personal belongings.
5. Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the organisers and associated parties from any and all claims, actions, suits, procedures, costs, expenses, damages, and liabilities, including legal fees, arising from my participation in the Event.
6. Media Consent
I grant permission for the organisers to use photographs, video recordings, and any other media likeness of me from the Event for promotional, marketing, or any other legitimate purposes without compensation or further approval.
7. Refund Policy
Community Fitness Games Ltd operates a no-refund policy. Once your ticket is purchased, no refunds will be given. You may transfer it to another participant free of charge by contacting Community Fitness Games up to 7 days before the Event. Should the Event be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, you may transfer your ticket to another event date or request a full refund.
8. Legal Age and Authority
I confirm that I am aged 18 years or older and have read, understood, and agree to this waiver, terms & conditions, and release of liability.
